Funds raised to support Crediton badminton players

By Crediton Courier Newspaper in Racquet Sports

JACKY Pike and Jan Skinner, whose daughter and son are both Devon No 1’s Badminton Players, held a home-made cake stall last Saturday in Crediton High Street.

Bronya Pike and Lloyd Skinner, both aged 16, will be playing in the Inter Counties Badminton Tour in Nottingham over Easter when they take part in four days of competitions.

With other donations, their mums raised £342 at the cake stall towards their expenses for the event.

Bronya is a sixth form student at Queen Elizabeth’s School and Lloyd attends Exeter College.

Both Jacky and Jan expressed their thanks to everyone who supported them and bought cakes. Good luck goes to Bronya and Lloyd.
