THE Crediton Branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding a get-together at Crediton Rugby Club on Friday, June 14.

Shaun Pengelly, Crediton Branch Secretary, said: “It has been sometime since we last held social events, and the Committee feels it is time to bring back evenings like this.

“We believe they will provide a great opportunity to meet with fellow members and new ones.

“We hope to make this gathering the start of regular events when we can relax and strengthen our bonds as members of the Royal British Legion.

“We look forward to seeing anyone who would like to attend.

“If anyone requires accessible access, this can be achieved by using the concrete path towards the rear of the Clubhouse.”

The open to all event will run from 6pm to 9pm and refreshments will be provided.

The bar will be open and if anyone would like further details they can contact Shaun by emailing: [email protected] .

Branch President is Henry Parker and the Branch Chairman is Mike May.

The Royal British Legion exists to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.

It supports serving and ex-serving personnel all-year-round, every day of the week.

It is proud that its support starts after one day of service and continues throughout life, long after service is over.

The Royal British Legion is extremely proud and honoured that His Majesty King Charles III was this month confirmed as the charity’s new patron.
